چکیده

Neuropathy is nerve damage that can cause chronic neuropathic pain, which challenging to cure and has a significant financial burden. Exercise therapies, including High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) steady-state cardio, are being explored as potential treatments for pain. This systematic review compares the effectiveness of HIIT cardio improving function in neurological patients. article provides an overview conducted on effects exercise patients, with focus high-intensity interval training cardio. The authors comprehensive search various databases, identified relevant studies based predetermined inclusion criteria, used EPPI automation application process data. final selection was validity relevance, redundant articles removed. reviews four compare moderate-intensity continuous (MICT) health outcomes. found improve aerobic fitness, cerebral blood flow, brain stroke patients; lower diastolic pressure more than MICT insulin sensitivity skeletal muscle mitochondrial content obese individuals, potentially helping prevention management type 2 diabetes. In people multiple sclerosis, acute decrease plasma neurofilament light chain while increasing flow kynurenine pathway. available clinical preclinical data suggest further study its alleviate pain justified. Randomized controlled trials needed investigate type, intensity, frequency, duration exercise, could lead consensus specific HIIT-based advice patients neuropathies.

The Effects of High Intensity Interval Training vs Steady State Training on Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity.

UNLABELLED High intensity interval training (HIIT) has become an increasingly popular form of exercise due to its potentially large effects on exercise capacity and small time requirement. This study compared the effects of two HIIT protocols vs steady-state training on aerobic and anaerobic capacity following 8-weeks of training. Fifty-five untrained college-aged subjects were randomly assigne...

High-intensity interval training in cardiac rehabilitation.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is frequently used in sports training. The effects on cardiorespiratory and muscle systems have led scientists to consider its application in the field of cardiovascular diseases. The objective of this review is to report the effects and interest of HIIT in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and heart failure (HF), as well as in persons with high...

Commentary: The Effects of High Intensity Interval Training vs Steady State Training on Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity

The research article by Foster et al. (2015) aimed to compare high intensity interval training (HIIT) protocols with steady state exercise and conclude that HIIT protocols are not superior to conventional exercise training in sedentary young adults. We would like to compliment the authors for the interesting work and findings, however, it is necessary to point out some relevant issues, especial...

High Intensity Interval Training Vs Moderate Intensity Continuous Training in the Management of Metabolic Type Disease

Previously, the use of moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT) has generally been considered the most beneficial exercise treatment modality for the prevention/management of metabolic type disease. More recently, however, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) has emerged into the clinical setting as a potential alternative to traditional MICT in the management of such diseases, but the ...

Health Promotion in Cardiac Rehabilitation Patients through the Use of a High-Intensity Interval Training Protocol

According to the American Heart Association’s (AHA) recent statistical update, over 2150 Americans die each day from cardiovascular disease (CVD), which equals approximately 1 death every 40 seconds; many of which were under the age of 65 years old [1]. In 2009, 386,324 people, 1 in 6 Americans, died as a result of coronary artery disease (CAD) alone [1]. They also estimate 150,000 people have ...
